Nisar Ahmed Nisar Ahmed Nisar Ahmed Nisar Ahmed
Nisar Ahmed was born in a remote village of Balochistan province in Pakistan. He was orphaned at the age of 7 years and lost his mother when he was only 12 years old. Whilst still grieving the loss of his mother, he was pulled out of his village educational institute, put on a bus and sent to Karachi by his family elders. He was strictly told to start daily wage work in the massive metropolitan city of Karachi when he didn’t even speak the National language, Urdu, as he had grown up speaking his native Pashto language and had never left his village and home before.
In Karachi, he initially took up work at road side cafes (often called hotels in Pakistan) earning daily wages. With neither a home to live in, nor parents to look after him, these cafes became his place of residence and work. He had a desire to continue his education and managed to enroll in a school whilst working 12 hours each day earning very low wages.
Fueled by an interest in combat sports and an innate desire to compete, he started his Martial Arts journey in 2016, under the tutelage of Iqrar Khan at Tiger Martial Arts Academy.
He initially learnt Wushu and soon thereafter developed a passion for Boxing and Kickboxing. During his teen years, in spite of his daily laborious work of over 12 hours, he had the fortitude to continue his Martial Arts training with passion, dedication and diligence, supporting himself singularly throughout, by even taking on additional physical work.
He excelled Nationally by winning gold medals at National Championships in Kickboxing and with his aggressive fighting style became popularly known as ‘Nisar Boxer’ within martial arts circles in Pakistan. Later, he became inclined to learn Muay Thai, and included this in his Martial Arts repertoire.
In 2023, Nisar joined AKS-Dojo™ to further enhance his Martial Arts career through professional growth and personal development.
Here he learnt athletic discipline, and enhanced his skills by following a strict training regimen. He gained knowledge of mental and physical well-being, which enabled him to take his career to new heights.
In 2024, his dream was fulfilled when he was crowned Muay Thai World Champion at the World Muay Federation Pro-Amateur Muay Thai Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.
Nisar became the first fighter from Pakistan to win this Pro-Amateur title, which provided impetus to his life’s Martial Arts journey. This was a special and memorable win for him; it gave him a sense of deep satisfaction with joy given his life’s challenging circumstances.
With over 200 fights in the ring, Nisar ranks amongst the top Martial Arts athletes in Pakistan, and has won many titles and gold medals. He has passionately raised Pakistan’s flag abroad through his fight wins, and brought back laurels for the country by winning titles and medals in Russia, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Azerbaijan.
